Corn
Apparently there’s a difference between yellow corns. I didn’t know there was such a thing as field corn which is far more starchy and tough than sweet corn. I was walking on a path next to some corn fields and decided to take one or two cobs (maybe 5). I boiled them and boiled them. I boiled them for 5 minutes and I boiled them for hours. No matter what I did they never got juicy. I then discovered that the corn I picked wasn’t even the store corn. It was corn used to feed farm animals (ㆆ_ㆆ). Those farmers are good and I have now learned not to forage farmlands. Field corn is still good for you though so I dried out the cobs and made a really bad corn meal that is not fine and still has small chunks.
