Vanilla Cake Recipe

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cup flour

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 2/3 cup brown sugar

Dry Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup salted butter

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup canola oil

Cake Moisturizer

  • Sprinkle some Ovaltine

  • Use Milk or Half & Half or anything creamy

  • Mix however much you want to get a liquid that can make you cake as moist as you want.

Frosting

  • 1 chocolate bar of your choosing

  • 3 spoons of Cream Cheese

  • Pour a little Half & Half in there

  • Add a tbsp or 2 of butter

So I think those are all the ingredients and measurements I used. I seemed to have forgotten to write down the vanilla extract measurement, but I’m sure it was teaspoons haha. For the cake moisturizer as I like to call it, I poked holes into the cake after it was baked using a fork. Then I poured that moisturizer over it. Afterwards I smothered that cake in the frosting and threw some berries on top. I thought it was good with the frosting, but I’m not a professional baker so to each their own.
