Moss Art

I attempted making moss art for the first time and I wish I could say I loved making it, but it stressed me out bad ( ദ്ദി ˙ᗜ˙ ). Arranging the moss was fun until I had to glue it all down and gosh…I hated it! I think it looks super cute in my apartment, but the process was far from cute. I feel I went too big for my first attempt, but I am very proud of myself for getting it to look the way I envisioned.

I bought and used three types of moss from Hobby Lobby and then glued it all down onto some woven fabric that I’ve had for a while. I glued the fabric between two sticks so the whole thing would be like a sort of moss scroll. Honestly, at a glance it looks like I shaved patches of grass from someone’s lawn and hung it up ( · ❛ ֊ ❛). I love it though especially for the amount of stress it put me through. I have a lot of moss left over so any future moss projects will definitely be much smaller.

For anyone who uses too much glue and is too impatient to let it dry, feel free to try this mini heat gun.
