Clouds

I was flying back home after visiting my family for the holidays. I’m usually lucky enough to get an aisle seat, but this time I was graciously placed at the window seat so I could poke my seat neighbors and let them know that I desperately needed to empty my bowels in the dirty, claustrophobic airplane bathroom.

On this flight though, I got some good cloud views. Lots of layers of clouds in the sky. You could see how gray and depressing it was on the ground below all the clouds, but I was not affected because I was high above it all basking in the beautiful sun and its golden rays that shone through my tiny plane window.

As I tried my hardest to feel the warmth of daylight, I saw a bunch of clouds looking like they were falling into a crevice or something. I thought “wow, that’s cool. There must be a ridge there or a cliff or something”. I wish I knew what was below those clouds, but they looked cool and I like how fluid and flexible the fluffy puffs of water we call “clouds” are.
